With up to 60 sectional buildings, Greenhouses, Arbours and Arches on display, across 1½ acres of land in Standon, Hertfordshire.

Come to our Standon depot to view display models of Sheds, Summerhouses, Greenhouses, Log stores, Arbours, Arches and much more. Our 1½-acre premises is divided into display and storage. Our large customer parking area and convenient placement along the A120 make Howe Fencing easily accessible for both trade and domestic customers.

We pride ourselves in treating each customer as an individual. We have been supplying corporate, trade and retail customers for over 25 years with a personal service. All our customers are important. Our aim for trade customers is to provide a service that helps your business to be profitable and to grow. Before buying Howe Fencing, AVS Fencing Supplies had nine branches around the South and East of England: Aylesbury, Basingstoke, Guildford, Havant, Henfield, Lewes, Peterborough, Rudgwick, and Wokingham. The Support Office is in Horsham.

Caring for the Environment

A high percentage of our sawn timber is purchased from within the UK and is responsibly sourced from Forestry Commission plantations.

A recycling project was recently created to assist our clients with recycling treated timber fencing and other waste generated from their trade. The aim was to reduce the volume going to landfill or being burnt inappropriately by 75%.

We hold accreditations with organisations such as the IFC and the Wood Protection Association. Our accreditations demonstrate our commitment to looking after our industry and environment as well as our customers and our staff.

AVS Group History

In 1993 AVS was incorporated as a limited company by its two founders. AVS Fencing Supplies has since grown to be one of the leading suppliers of fencing, landscaping and decking materials in the South East.

The founders brought together more than 20 years of experience in the fencing supply and contracting industries, forming the foundations for the successful and growing company as it is today.

A mixture of having the right people working in the right places, utilising the right resources, hard work finding opportunities and offering a superior service to that of our competitors is the key to our success.
